How to: Get a URL to a live video for different streaming services
When setting up a streaming event on Howler, you'll need to input the stream URL for customers to access when the stream is live. Should you need to find a URL to upload to the Howler Organiser Portal for your online streaming event, the below details which URL you should use, and how to get them for the various streaming services below. It also includes the official guides of each site, on how to go live using their service.
- Facebook: You can simply use a URL pointing directly to your facebook account. Live Videos will always appear at the top of your facebook page.
- Example: https://www.facebook.com/HowlerApp/

- Instagram: You can use a URL pointing to your Instagram profile. An indicator will appear showing that you are live. Your viewers/followers can then access your live stream from there.

- Youtube: Public live streams URL's can point to the channel's live URL. The random text after ".../channel/xxxxx" is a unique identifier of your channel.
