ID or Passport Number Not Valid

Chloe Wrathmall Updated by Chloe Wrathmall

Howler requires your ID or passport number for a number of important reasons. Having every ticket associated with an ID or passport number allows organisers to know exactly who's inside the event, and who's not. This information counts in case of emergency. Plus, it helps keep any funny business safely outside the event.

If you’re having listing your ID or passport number, try this:

  1. Select the country/city in which your passport number is registered instead of the country/city you reside in
  2. Ensure you’ve entered the correct number under the correct heading, making sure you’ve entered your ID number and not your passport number – or vice versa.
  3. Double check that your information is correct.
Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and South Africa are sometimes listed under Southern Africa.
