Sponsor Assigning Complimentary Tickets

We’ve built a new tool in the Howler Admin Portal that makes assigning tickets to guests faster and easier than ever.

In the past, sponsors received a bulk set of tickets in their accounts and had to transfer each one manually. Now, you can assign each ticket directly to a guest from the Admin Portal.

Please Note: Each complimentary ticket must be assigned to the person who will use it. This step is mandatory. 

  1. You will receive an email from Howler (team@howler.co.za) with the subject line "You have a new role!".
  2. Open the email and click "SIGN IN"
You can ignore any email from Howler that says "You received complimentary tickets for [Event Name]" These are just informing you that tickers have been issued for you to assign.
  1. Using the same email address the above email(s) were sent to, Login or Sign up to your Howler Account.
  2. You can manage complimentary ticket assigning here:  https://admin.howler.co.za/admin/complimentary_tickets
  • Ensure you’re on the ‘COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS’ tab at the top of the page
  • On this page you’ll see all of your complimentary table tickets
  1. Click ‘VIEW’ on each ticket to assign it to the ticket holder
  • You will need their name, surname and email address
  • You cannot use the same email address across multiple tickets
  1. Click ‘Assign ticket’ in the top right corner

  1. Enter the ticket holder’s name, surname and email address
  2. Click ‘Submit Complimentary ticket’
  • You’ll see a green banner ‘Successfully Allocated Ticket’
  • Once you assign the ticket, the recipient will get an email letting them know it’s been issued to them.
