The Ins and the Outs of Chat
You will be directed to the following page where you can access the stream. You will need to add a nickname and select 'CONFIRM NICKNAME' in order to start using the chat feature.

Once you have confirmed your nickname, the embedded chat will open and the chat window will open at the left hand side of the bottom of your screen.

You can select any where on the banner that says 'Chat' and the chat window pop up will open.

From this pop up you will be able to access all features for the chat.
To create a private group with your friends only, select the symbol that looks like a pencil on a piece of paper and then select 'New Group'.

Enter the name of the group you want to create and then select 'private group' if you would not like anyone else on the stream to be able to join or 'public group' if you would like other people to be able to see your group chat. Then select 'create'.

On the first panel you will see all of the contact you can start conversations with and the group you have just created. To open the group click on the symbol or the group name and the group chat window will open to the right.
To start a chat with an individual, go through the contacts and select on that person, this will open a private chat just between you and them.

To start a video chat with a group or an individual, select the video icon at the top right hand corner of the chat.
To start an audio call with a group or an individual select the telephone icon at the top right hand corner of the chat.
To close the window select the 'x'.

The video/audio call window will open and look like the below image. You can unmute yourself or mute yourself with the mic symbol, or you can turn your video on or off with the video camera symbol.
To end the call press the red 'end call' button and close the window with the 'x' at the top right hand corner of the chat window.

If a user is sending you unsolicited messages or profanity or anything offensive, you can select the arrow next to the users name and 'block user' or 'report conversation' so that one of the moderators can deal with the individual.

If you select the 3 dots to the left of the bell symbol you can go into your settings. From here you can set your online status and make a status message.

You can also play games using the chat, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find 'single player games', if you select this, the games window will pop open and you can select a game to play from there.

On the right hand panel embedded chat there are multiple features that you can utilise.
Next to where you type a message, there is an arrow (from left to right): start an audio/video broadcast, send a sticker, voice note, share a whiteboard, collaborative document and share your location.

The whiteboard feature allows you to draw pictures that others can participate in.
