Downloading codeREADr on Android / iOS

  1. Open the Play Store or AppStore on your respective device.
  2. Search and install the codeREADr application.
  3. Open codeREADr and enter your login details.
  4. Start scanning QR codes.
  5. Once the QR code is scanned, enter the temperature reading and submit the result.
  6. Once submitted, you're able to scan the next QR code.

You're able to search for the 'QR Code' using the barcode displayed on the same image.

Using a Famoco Device

  1. If you have been given a Famoco device, all you need to do is open the codeREADr application which is pre-installed on the device.
  2. Enter you login details to sign in.
  3. To start scanning QR codes, select "Tap to Scan"
  4. Once the QR code is scanned, enter the temperature reading and submit the result.
  5. Once submitted, you're able to scan the next QR code.

You're able to search for the 'QR Code' using the barcode displayed on the same image.

There are three different ways of  processing people on the CodeREADr App.

Option 1: If the customer is  a registered user and has done a screening in the last 24 hours.

  1. Open the codeREADr App on the device.
  2. Enter your logins (Username & password).
  3. Click on “services” this should give you the “screening” option.
  4. Screen should have the Keep Out Covid screen and “tap here” at the top.
  5. The customer will present the QR they have received in the last 24 hours to be scanned on a device that has the CodeREADr App.
  6. Enter  the customers temperature reading.
  7. Admit the customer in.

Option 2: If the customer is a registered user but has not done a screening in the last 24 hours.

  1. Log into the CodeREADr App ( Enter Username & Password).
  2. Tap on the Keep Out Covid screen.
  3. Ask the customer to present the last QR code they received.
  4. Scan the QR code.
  5. Enter the temperature reading of the customer.
  6. Enter the customers ID number.
  7. Ask the Customer to answer the screening questions.
  8. Admit the customer in.

 

Option 3: This option allows the client to process unregistered users in two ways.

3.1 Process unregistered users using their iPhone.

  1. Log into the CodeREADr App (Enter Username & password).
  2. Present the organisation QR code to the customer to scan using their iPhone.
  3. Ask the customer to open their phone camera.
  4. Ask the customer to scan the QR code using their phone.
  5. Ask the customer to click on the pop-up link at the top of screen.
  6. The customer will be asked to complete the screening on their phone.
  7. The customer will present QR code to be scanned.
  8. Tap the Keep out Covid screen to scan the customer QR code.
  9. Admit the customer in.

 3.2 : Process for unregistered users (Using Howler Scanning Device)

  1. Log into the CodeREADr APP on the Famoco (Howler Scanning Device).
  2. Tap on the Keep out Covid screen to scan the printed organisation QR code.
  3. Scan the organisation QR code on the Howler Scanning Device.
  4. Enter the customers temperature on the scanning device.
  5. Enter the customers ID number.
  6. Ask the customer to complete the screening questions on the scanning device.
  7. Admit the customer in on the scanning device.
